Located in the southern part of China's Hebei Province and under the jurisdiction of Xingtai City, Nangong is a county-level city with a long history and culture located in the hinterland of the North China Plain. With a total area of about 863 square kilometers and a population of about 500,000, the city has agriculture and industry as its main economic pillars, producing crops such as cotton and wheat, and gradually developing machinery manufacturing and textile industries.
With a long history dating back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods, Nangong boasts numerous cultural heritages, such as the famous Nangong Putong Pagoda and the Ming and Qing Dynasty ancient building complexes. Conveniently located near the Beijing-Guangzhou railroad and highway network, it is connected to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic circle. The region is known for its mild climate and simple folkways, making it an ideal destination for exploring Hebei's traditional culture and countryside.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
