Nangan, located at the northern mouth of the Taiwan Strait and part of Lianjiang County in Fujian Province, is the political, economic and cultural center of the Matsu Islands. It is famous for its unique granite landforms and the traditional architecture of "stone houses" in eastern Fujian, where stone houses with red tiles and white walls are built against the mountains, contrasting with the blue sea and sky, forming a distinctive Matsu flavor. With a pleasant climate and mild seasons, the area combines subtropical maritime characteristics with the cultural imprint of a war zone, and is home to historical attractions such as Matsu's Tianhou Palace and Preah Vihear settlement, as well as natural landscapes such as Jinsha Beach. As an important window for cross-strait exchanges, Nangan blends traditional fishing village styles with modern tourism vitality, making it an excellent place to experience Matsu culture and island flavor.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
