Nancagua is a city in the Oiagins Region of central Chile, located about 60 kilometers north of the capital Santiago, in the province of Cachapoal, and is one of the province's major economic centers. Located in the heart of the Central Valley, the city is surrounded by fertile agricultural land and vineyards, and the Cachapoal Valley, Chile's famous wine region, extends through the city, producing Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere grapes of international renown. Economically, Nancagua has both agricultural and industrial properties. In addition to grape cultivation and winemaking, there are also copper mining-related industries in the surrounding area, which benefit from Chile's rich mineral resources. As part of the Santiago metropolitan area, Nancagua is well connected to the capital by highway, retaining its traditional Chilean townscape while gradually integrating into the regional economic development network, making it a typical city for understanding the synergy between agriculture and industry in central Chile.
Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger. The city is located in the lower Niger River basin around the climate of the tropical desert climate, hot and dry throughout the year, the average annual precipitation is less than 300 millimeters. The economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, and the surrounding areas are rich in millet, sorghum and livestock. Diffa, as a regional trade center, undertakes the function of cross-border trade with neighboring countries, such as Nigeria, and is especially famous for the trade of livestock, agricultural products and handicrafts. The city is culturally diverse, with Hausa, Tuareg and Kanuri ethnic groups living in the area, and is unique in its crafts such as traditional leather weaving and silversmithing.
