Namsos is a coastal town in Trøndelag County in central Norway, situated at the end of the Namsdal Fjord, surrounded by dense forests and winding waterways, and known as the "Forest Capital of Norway". With a population of around 9,200, this small town has a long history of forestry and paper making, and still retains remnants of its traditional industries. The Namsos Fjord is a breathtaking place where visitors can enjoy steep cliffs and waterfalls by boat or explore the surrounding national parks on foot to experience the purity of polar nature.
