Mzuzu is the third largest city in Malawi and is located in the northern region of the country, on the edge of the Vifia Plateau, at an altitude of about 1,250 meters above sea level. As the capital and largest city of the Northern Region, Mzuzu is an important administrative, commercial and transportation hub.
The city's economy is based on agro-processing and trade, and the surrounding area is rich in tea, coffee, rubber and tobacco. Mzuzu has a number of processing factories, including tea factories, timber factories and food processing factories, and is also a major distribution center for agricultural products in the north.
Mzuzu is equipped with infrastructure such as a hospital, a large market, hotels and the University of Mzuzu. The city is connected to Lilongwe and Zomba by road and has a domestic airport, Mzuzu Airport, which provides flight services to and from Lilongwe.
The city is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and is close to the Nyika National Park and Lake Malawi, making it an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty of the north. The mild highland climate makes Mzuzu a pleasant city to live in and visit.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
