Murehe is an important city in the west of Burundi, located on the north-eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika, which is a key transportation hub connecting the lake area and the interior of the country. As an integral part of Gitega Province, the city takes agriculture as its leading industry, and the surrounding area is rich in coffee, cotton, corn and other economic crops, which is an important node for the distribution and trade of Burundi's agricultural products. The climate of Murehe is warm and humid, with an average annual temperature of about 20-25℃, and the lakes, mountains, and rural scenery are reflected in the city, which has both natural ecology and humanistic atmosphere. Although the city is small in size, it plays an important role in local economic and social development by virtue of its geographical location and agricultural foundation, and is also one of the windows to understand the rural life in western Burundi.
Located in the western part of Guangdong Province, Luoding is a county-level city under the administration of Yunfu City, known as the "Gateway to Western Guangdong" and the "Breadbasket of Lingnan", situated at the crossroads of Guangfu and Bagui cultures, with a long history of more than 1,400 years since it was established in the Southern Dynasty, and is one of the "Ancient Cultural Counties of Guangdong". The Changgangpo Ferry Trough in the county is known as the "Red Flag Canal of the South", which is a model of modern water conservancy engineering; Luoding has abundant products such as rice and cinnamon, and has deep agricultural roots. As an important node of the Maritime Silk Road, Luoding integrates the diverse cultures of Guangfu, Hakka and Lingnan, and retains a rich human heritage of ancient villages and ancestral halls. Nowadays, Luoding, relying on the advantages of the transportation hub, is accelerating its integration into the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and writing a new modern chapter of the millennium-old town with the synergistic development of eco-agriculture, cultural and tourism industries, and manufacturing industry.
