Mulvane is a city in Sumner County, Kansas, United States, located in the south-central part of the state, about 20 miles from the city of Wichita. Named after early settler Joel Mulvane, the city was incorporated in 1883 and has a population of about 6,000.
Malvern's economy is dominated by agriculture and small businesses, while benefiting from the radiation of aerospace manufacturing from the neighboring city of Wichita. The city has a well-developed public education system, including Malvern Elementary School and Malvern High School. In addition, the Malvern Museum of Art is known for its extensive collection of Western American art.
The annual Malvern Days festival attracts a large number of visitors and includes a parade, musical performances and a traditional bazaar. The city's landmark attractions include the historic downtown district and Mulvane Mountain Park, which offers panoramic views of the Arkansas River Valley. The Mulvane Gaming Complex, one of the largest gaming venues in Kansas, is also located here.
Located in the Great Plains of North America, Malvern has a continental climate with four distinct seasons. The city is conveniently connected to major transportation networks via U.S. Highway 54 and is only 30 minutes from Wichita Dwight David Eisenhower National Airport.
Wangmu County, belonging to Guizhou Province Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, is located at the border of Guizhou and Guangxi in the south of Guizhou, at the junction of Guizhou and Guangxi, and is situated in the slope zone of the transition from Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to Guangxi hills, which belongs to the typical karst landform.
