Located in the northern part of West Virginia, USA, Morgantown is one of the largest cities in the state and is the county seat of Monongalia County. Nestled in the Allegheny Mountains with the Monongahela River running through the city, the city is known for its beautiful natural surroundings and four distinct seasons.
As the home of West Virginia University, Morgantown is a vibrant college town with a strong academic scene and an economy anchored by the healthcare, energy and technology industries. The city is surrounded by an abundance of outdoor recreational resources, such as hiking, skiing and whitewater rafting, which attract many visitors.
Conveniently located with a network of regional airports and highways, Morgantown is about an hour's drive from Pittsburgh. Its safe and livable neighborhoods and diverse cultural activities make it an iconic city in West Virginia.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
