Montero is an important city in the Department of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Located in the eastern plains of the country, in the transition zone between the edge of the Amazon rainforest and agriculture, Montero is one of Bolivia's major agricultural and industrial centers. The city has a warm and humid climate, with an average temperature of about 25°C. It is suitable for the cultivation of cash crops such as soybeans, cotton and sugar cane, and the local agro-processing industry is well-developed, especially famous for processing and exporting soybeans. As a sub-core city of the Santa Cruz Department, Montero has a population of about 100,000, a blend of indigenous and European immigrant cultures. The city is young but rapidly developing, with a gradually improving infrastructure, and is an important hub connecting the interior of the eastern region of Bolivia to international trade, and plays a key role in the regional economy by virtue of its superior agricultural resources and location advantages.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
