Mongar is an important city in eastern Bhutan, located in the eastern part of the country in the Mongar Dzong (administrative district), in a mountainous region at an altitude of about 1,600 meters above sea level, with a mild and humid climate. As the main economic and cultural center of eastern Bhutan, Mongar is known for its rich natural beauty and traditional Buddhist culture. Surrounded by dense forests and terraced fields, the city is a popular destination for trekking and eco-tourism. Fremont is an unincorporated community in the U.S. state of Virginia, located in the northwestern part of the state within Frederick County.
