Mogilev is an important city in eastern Belarus, located on the banks of the Dnieper River. It is the capital and administrative center of the Mogilev Oblast and the third largest city in the country. Founded in 1264, the city was historically a military fortress and trading hub during the Tsarist period, and was rebuilt after suffering severe damage during World War II. As the industrial capital of Belarus, Mogilev is dominated by the machine-building, chemical, textile and food-processing industries, and is home to a number of large enterprises and scientific research institutions. In terms of culture, the city is rich in cultural facilities such as the Mogilev State University, the State Concert Hall and the Art Museum, and the parks and ancient buildings along the Dnieper River add to the city's historical flavor. Thanks to its advantageous geographical location and deep industrial base, Mogilev is still the economic, cultural and transportation center of Eastern Belarus.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
