Mirebalais (Miragoâne) is the capital of the Nippes Department in the Republic of Haiti, located along the Gulf of Mirebalais in the southwestern part of the Haitian peninsula. The administrative and economic center of the region, Mirebalais is an important coastal port city known for its fishing and salt production.
The city is located in a tropical climate zone and is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, including the coastline and nearby hills.
