Located on the southern coast of China and neighboring Hong Kong and Macau, Guangdong Province is the frontline of China's reform and opening up and the largest province in terms of economy, with its GDP ranking first in the country for many consecutive years. As the core engine of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the two first-tier cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen are leading technological innovation and manufacturing upgrading, and the Pearl River Delta region is a globally important production base and trade hub. Lingnan has a rich cultural heritage, with Cantonese, Chaoshanese and Hakka dialects intertwined, and Cantonese cuisine, Cantonese morning tea and Chaoshan cuisine are renowned worldwide. The province has a well-developed transportation network, with international airports such as Baiyun and Bao'an connecting to the world, and the ports of Guangzhou and Shenzhen ranking among the top ten container ports in the world. With the spirit of "being the first", Guangdong continues to attract global talent and investment, and is an important symbol of China's economic vitality and openness.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
