Minhe Hui and Tu Autonomous County is subordinate to Haidong City of Qinghai Province, located in the east of Qinghai Province, at the junction of Gan and Qing Dynasties, which is the "East Gateway" of Qinghai, and the Yellow River flows through the south, forming a river valley landscape. Located in the northwestern part of China's Guizhou Province, Weining is an autonomous county under the jurisdiction of Bijie City, situated on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, with an average altitude of about 2,200 meters and a predominantly plateau mountainous climate.
