Mingxi is located in the northwest of Fujian Province, the center of Sanming City, the southern foot of Wuyi Mountain Range, bordering Jiangxi Province, and is an important ecological county in western Fujian. The forest coverage here is as high as 81.9%, and the concentration of negative oxygen ions is one of the highest in the country, which is known as "Natural Oxygen Bar".
