Located in the northern part of Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, at the northern foot of Tianshan Mountain and the southern edge of Junggar Basin, Midong District is a municipal district of Urumqi City, as well as an important industrial base and satellite city in Xinjiang. It is also an important industrial base and satellite city of Xinjiang. It is located in the key traffic junction, about 20 kilometers away from Urumqi Dewobu International Airport, with convenient transportation such as Wuqui Expressway and Tuwu-Da Expressway passing through the area. Relying on rich coal, oil and other resources, Midong District has formed leading industries such as energy and chemical industry, equipment manufacturing, new materials, etc., and is an important energy security base in Xinjiang. At the same time, it has distinctive agricultural characteristics, producing grapes, cotton, tomatoes and other agricultural products, with both modern agricultural production and rural tourism development. As a multi-ethnic settlement area, Meidong integrates the cultures of Han, Hui, Uygur, Kazakh and other ethnic groups, with a profound folk culture, and the Tianshan Mountain scenery and idyllic atmosphere, which is an important growth pole of Urumqi metropolitan area.
Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
