Mentougou District is an administrative district under the jurisdiction of Beijing, located in the western part of the city, in the transition zone between the Taihang Mountains and the North China Plain. The area is dominated by mountains and hills, and is rich in natural landscapes and cultural heritage. Mentougou is an important ecological conservation area in Beijing, with high forest coverage and excellent air quality, and is known as the "Green Lung of Western Beijing".
Famous attractions in the area include ancient temples with a long history, such as Tanzhe Temple and Jiutai Temple, as well as natural scenic spots such as Miaofeng Mountain and Lingshan Mountain, which attract many tourists and outdoor enthusiasts. Mentougou is also famous for its coal resources, which historically served as an important energy supplier for Beijing. Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
