Mengjin is located in the northeastern part of Luoyang City, Henan Province, China, on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yellow River, and is one of the famous historical and cultural counties in China. The region is known for its long history and rich cultural heritage, having been an important strategic location for several dynasties. Mengjin boasts numerous historical sites, such as the Longma Nitu Temple and the Mausoleum of Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty, which reflect the deep heritage of the Central Plains culture.

Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
