Located in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Minnesota, next to Fargo, North Dakota, and situated on the east bank of the Red River, Moorhead is one of the key Twin Cities on the Minnesota-North Dakota border. The city is known for its peaceful atmosphere and friendly neighborhood vibe, with a population of about 38,000 (2020 data), mostly descendants of immigrants of European descent, and a multicultural mix. Education is plentiful in Mernaoga, with the Minnesota State University Moorhead campus providing quality higher education support to the area. Economically, agriculture, education, healthcare and services are the main pillars, and the surrounding belt of fertile black soil makes it an agricultural town. In addition, the city has a well-developed park system, with trails and outdoor venues along the Red River that are popular with residents, while snow and ice events in the winter and riverside concerts in the summer add to the joie de vivre. As part of the Twin Cities, Mernaoga retains the simplicity of a small town while sharing the conveniences of a large city, making it an ideal place to live and grow.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
