Mellieħa is a seaside town located in the northwestern part of the island of Malta, known for its magnificent coastline, crystal clear waters and rich natural beauty. One of Malta's main tourist destinations, Mellieħa boasts several Blue Flag beaches, such as the famous Mellieħa Bay, suitable for swimming, diving and water sports.
Mellieha's history dates back to the Middle Ages and its landmark Mellieħa Sanctuary is an important religious site in Malta, which legend has it was founded by St. Paul. The town retains a traditional Maltese countryside feel, whilst incorporating modern tourist amenities to offer a unique cultural experience.
The surrounding nature reserve and Gozo Channel offer spectacular views, while historic fortifications such as the Red Tower provide panoramic vistas. Visitors can explore the nearby caves, hike the coastal trail, or sample the local seafood cuisine. Mellieha is an ideal vacation destination with its safe, family-friendly environment.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
