Located in the city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Meinong is an important settlement of Hakka culture in Taiwan, and is known as the "township of paper art". The town is famous for its traditional handmade paper industry. The soft texture of Meinong paper was once an important raw material for calligraphy, painting and ritual objects in Taiwan, and it still retains its ancient papermaking techniques. The town is lined with Hakka buildings, such as the Old Village Old Street and Guangshantang, which display a strong Hakka flavor. In terms of natural landscape, the Meinong Reservoir and the Zhuzai Gate Power Plant Greenway provide recreational opportunities, while the Meinong Lantern Festival, a large-scale celebration of Hakka folklore and art held every year during the Lunar New Year, attracts many tourists. As a living museum of Hakka culture, Meinong has become a must-visit place for experiencing Taiwan's Hakka flavor with its simple folkways and deep cultural heritage.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims.
