In 622 A.D., the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad, migrated here, making it the political and religious center of early Islam. The most famous shrine in the city is the Prophet's Mosque, which houses the tomb of Muhammad and is a must-visit place for Muslims performing Hajj. Medina is known for its strong religious atmosphere and peaceful urban environment, attracting millions of Muslims from all over the world to worship and study every year. As the core of Islamic history and culture, Medina has not only preserved many religious relics, but has also modernized and developed into a city of sanctity and vitality, blending traditional and modern elements.
