Marudi is a town in Miri Province, Sarawak, Malaysia, located in the northern part of the island of Borneo, near the banks of the Baram River, about 100 kilometers from the city of Miri. The town has a long history and was once an important administrative and trading center in northern Sarawak, with a predominantly timber and agricultural economy.
