Markham is located in the southern part of Ontario, Canada, and is an important part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), bordered by Richmond Hill to the north and the City of Toronto to the south. As the center of Canada's high-tech industry, Markham is known as the "High-Tech Capital of Canada", with more than 1,500 technology companies such as IBM, AMD, Huawei and other headquarters or R & D centers.
Markham has a population of approximately 350,000, of which more than 40% are Chinese, making it one of the cities with the highest percentage of Chinese in North America. Langfang is located in the central part of Hebei Province, China, and is an important node city of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, neighboring Beijing and Tianjin, and known as the "Pearl of the Beijing-Tianjin Corridor". With a total area of approximately 6,429 square kilometers and a population of approximately 5.5 million, Langfang is governed by a number of districts and counties, including Guangyang District, Anji District and a number of county-level cities.
