Marialva is an important city in the western part of the Brazilian state of Paraná, located on the banks of the Iguassu River, about 80 kilometers from the famous tourist destination of Iguassu Falls. The city is located on the border between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay and is one of the gateway cities to the Iguazu National Park.
As a regional trade hub, Marielva's economy is dominated by agriculture, livestock and cross-border trade, with crops such as soybeans and corn abundant in the surrounding area. The city's close proximity to the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant and the Iguazu International Airport gives it a unique geographic advantage, and in recent years the tourism industry has grown rapidly, making it an important supply station for exploring the Iguazu Ecotourism Zone.

Located in the western part of Guangdong Province, Luoding is a county-level city under the administration of Yunfu City, known as the "Gateway to Western Guangdong" and the "Breadbasket of Lingnan", situated at the crossroads of Guangfu and Bagui cultures, with a long history of more than 1,400 years since it was established in the Southern Dynasty, and is one of the "Ancient Cultural Counties of Guangdong".
