Mergina is a small town in Giurgiu County in southern Romania, located in the Danube Plain region, about 80 kilometers from the capital city of Bucharest. Known for its agriculture and traditional rural culture, the town is surrounded by extensive farmland and vineyards, and its economy relies mainly on farming and livestock.
