Malabon is a highly urbanized city in Metro Manila, Philippines, conveniently located in the western part of Luzon Island, on the northern shore of Manila Bay, about 10 kilometers from Metro Manila. As an integral part of Metro Manila, the city is known for its multicultural fusion and distinctive industries. It has a long history of fishing, which was once the distribution center for aquatic products in the surrounding areas, and still retains the look of a traditional fishing port today. Economically, Malagondon is dominated by light industry, food processing and textiles, with a thriving commercial and service sector. With a population of about 500,000, most of the inhabitants are native Filipinos, and the city has a strong cultural scene, with the annual "Malabon Fiesta" being a major festival in the area, combining dance, food and traditional performances that attract many tourists. The city is also home to many historical buildings and churches, such as the San Bartolome Church, which bears witness to the cultural heritage of the colonial period and is a unique window into the history and culture of the Philippines.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services.
