Located in the southwest of Guangdong Province, Maoming is an important coastal city in the west of Guangdong Province, bordering the South China Sea. As the "Southern Oil City", the petrochemical industry is the pillar of the economy, while relying on favorable climatic conditions, the production of lychee, longan and other tropical fruits is abundant, enjoying the reputation of "China's Lychee Township".
