Located in the southwest of Guangdong Province, Maoming is an important coastal city in the west of Guangdong Province, bordering the South China Sea. As the "Southern Oil City", the petrochemical industry is the pillar of the economy, while relying on favorable climatic conditions, the production of lychee, longan and other tropical fruits is abundant, enjoying the reputation of "China's Lychee Township". Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger.
