Located in the Cagayan Valley Region of Luzon, Philippines, Magat is a charming town in the province of Cagayan, known for the magnificent Manawag Falls and the Manawag Reservoir. It is home to one of the largest irrigation reservoirs in the Philippines, the Manawag Dam Reservoir, which is surrounded by turquoise waters and mountains, and is both an important source of water for agricultural irrigation and a popular eco-tourism destination. Visitors can take a boat ride on the lake, explore the surrounding waterfalls and rainforests, and experience the serene countryside. The area is primarily agricultural, producing rice and corn, and is a blend of Ilocano culture and aboriginal traditions, where the simplicity and warmth of the people are matched by the natural beauty of the landscape, making it a must-see place in Northern Luzon, where nature meets humanity.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
