Manama, Bahrain is the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain, located on the island of Muharraq in the southwestern part of the Persian Gulf, connected to the neighboring island of Muharraq by a bridge, and is the political, economic, financial and cultural center of Bahrain. As one of the oldest cities in the Gulf region, Manama blends tradition and modernity: the Old Town with the Bahrain National Museum and traditional bazaars such as the Mattock Market highlights its historical heritage, while the Central Business District with its high-rise buildings and concentration of international banks and corporations reflects its status as a regional financial hub. The city's climate is hot and dry, with hot and humid summers and mild winters. As a multicultural hub, Manama attracts a large number of expatriates and serves as an important window to the world for Bahrain.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
