Malong, Yunnan, China is located in the northeastern part of Yunnan Province and the central part of Qujing City, at the southern foot of the Wumeng Mountain Range, which is an important node of the city cluster in central Yunnan. Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger.
