Malmö, Sweden's third largest city, is located in the southern province of Skåne, across the Øresund Strait from Denmark's capital, Copenhagen, and closely connected by the Øresund Bridge, making it an important transportation hub and economic center in Northern Europe. Located in the northeastern part of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan Province of China, Dashu District is situated in the western foothills of the Central Mountain Range, and is a typical mountainous administrative area, neighboring Kaohsiung Taoyuan District in the east, connecting with Dacheng and Renwu Districts in the west, and connecting with Dashu and Dacheng Districts in the south, and adjoining Meinong District in the north, with a total area of about 78.73 square kilometers.
