Marazán is an important seaside city in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, known as "Argentina's coastal capital", located on the Atlantic coast, about 400 kilometers from the capital city of Buenos Aires. The city is known for its extensive sandy beaches, active fishing industry and tourism, and attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists in the summer, making it one of the most popular seaside resorts in Argentina. Diffa, the capital of the Diffa region in southeastern Niger, is located on the southern edge of the Sahara Desert and shares a border with Nigeria, making it one of the most important border cities in Niger.
