Located on the northwest coast of Yunlin County, Taiwan Province of China, with the Taiwan Strait to the west, Mailiao is an important petrochemical industrial base in Taiwan. Famous for being the site of the Formosa Plastics Group's "Six Light Program", the Mailiao Industrial Park brings together a number of petrochemical-related enterprises, driving the local economy and becoming one of the core areas of Taiwan's petrochemical industry. In addition to industry, Mailiao also has coastal characteristics, with attractions such as the Mailiao Coastal Park and Wangkong Fishing Harbor, where you can enjoy the magnificent seascape and mangrove ecology.
