Mogelizh is a charming town in the Shumen region of northeastern Bulgaria, situated on the picturesque banks of the Provadia River, about 30 kilometers from the Black Sea coast. This historic town is famous for its thermal resources, with several natural thermal springs with water temperatures ranging from 30-50°C all year round, making it a famous spa resort in Bulgaria.
The history of Mergeliž dates back to the Roman Empire and there are ruins of old Roman baths. The Mogliž Bridge, built during the Ottoman rule, is still a landmark. The town retains traditional Bulgarian national architecture and historical monuments such as the 19th-century St. George's Church, demonstrating the multicultural character of the town.
Visitors can experience the thermal spa, visit local wineries, or head to the nearby Knights of Madara reliefs (a UNESCO heritage site) and the Shumen fortress. The folk art festival held every summer attracts a large number of tourists. Surrounded by forests and hills for hiking and eco-tourism, the town is an ideal hub for exploring the culture of northeastern Bulgaria.
Located in the Marrakech-Safi region of southern Morocco, at the foot of the majestic Atlas Mountains, Ait Bahya is one of the traditional Berber villages. It is famous for its well-preserved adobe complexes, unique kasbahs (fortress-like dwellings) and winding stone alleyways, which perfectly demonstrate the wisdom of the Berbers to live in harmony with nature. The village is surrounded by terraced fields planted with olives, apricots and other crops, and the scenery varies throughout the seasons, making it an ideal place to experience Moroccan countryside life. Although not as well known as the neighboring ancient town of Ait Benhaddou, Ait Baha retains a more primitive atmosphere of life, where visitors can taste the traditional Berber cuisine, listen to ancient songs, and feel the deep heritage of North African culture.
