Magdalena is a border city in the Mexican state of Sonora, located in the northwestern part of the country, bordering the U.S. state of Arizona, and situated in the Sonora Desert. The city's economy is based on mining and agriculture, and the surrounding area is rich in copper resources, and traditional handicraft production is also quite distinctive.
Magdalena has an arid climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The city is surrounded by typical desert vegetation, and the Río San Ignacio flows through the area creating oases that support local irrigated agriculture. Its location makes it one of the most important nodes for trade along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Magdalena retains its colonial architecture, with the Santa Maria Magdalena Church being the city's landmark. Guangxi Gangbei is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Guigang City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, located in southeastern Guangxi, in the core area of the Pearl River Basin and the West River Economic Belt. The district covers a total area of about 1,090 square kilometers and has a population of about 700,000, predominantly Han and Zhuang. The Hong Kong North District is the political, economic and cultural center of Guigang, with convenient transportation and a network of railroads, highways and waterways connecting it to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The economy is based on industry, agriculture and services, with a focus on building materials, food processing and trade and logistics. The local culture is deep-rooted, with historical sites such as Nanshan Temple and beautiful natural landscapes, making it suitable for tourism and investment.
