Mabubas is the capital city of Malange province, in the Republic of Angola, and is located in the highlands of the north-western part of the country, at an altitude of around 1,100 meters above sea level. The city is situated in the upper basin of the Kwanza River and has a savannah climate, with favorable average annual temperatures and distinct rainy and dry seasons.
As the economic center of Malange Province, Mabubas is mainly based on agriculture and trade. The surrounding area is rich in coffee, cotton, corn and other crops, and its location at the intersection of the Benguela railroad and road network makes it an important hub for the transfer of goods between the interior of Angola and the coast.
Mabubas has a population of about 250,000, mainly Mbundu, and retains traditional Angolan culture. The city's architecture is a mix of colonial style and modern facilities, and is surrounded by tourist resources such as waterfalls and nature reserves, which are gradually developing the eco-tourism industry.
Huilai County is located in the southeastern part of Guangdong Province, China, under Jieyang City, and is situated in the coastal economic zone of eastern Guangdong, bordering the South China Sea, with a total area of about 1,253 square kilometers. Known for its marine resources and agricultural economy, Huilai is an important aquaculture base and production area for lychee and longan in Guangdong. Huilai also focuses on the energy industry, with large-scale wind power and thermal power projects built. With a population of about 1.4 million, the city has a rich cultural heritage, with a distinctive Chaoshan culture and a predominantly Chaoshan language. The economy is based on fisheries, agriculture and energy, and is in the process of modernizing and transforming its industries.
