With its high forest cover and hiking trails linking waterfalls and meadows, the town is ideal for hiking and biking in the summer and a ski resort in the winter. The town retains its traditional Slovak wooden houses, and local craftsmen and agriturismos offer visitors an authentic Slavic culinary experience. As an eco-tourism destination, Lissa is far from the hustle and bustle of the city and is ideal for experiencing the Slovak countryside at a slower pace, especially for nature lovers and cultural explorers.
