Luohu is one of the core administrative districts of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China, located in the eastern part of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and bordering the northern part of Hong Kong's New Territories, making it an important gateway connecting Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The area has a long history, and since the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone in the 1980s, Luohu has rapidly developed into a financial, commercial and transportation hub as a frontier of reform and opening up.
