Located in the western part of Guangdong Province, Luoding is a county-level city under the administration of Yunfu City, known as the "Gateway to Western Guangdong" and the "Breadbasket of Lingnan", situated at the crossroads of Guangfu and Bagui cultures, with a long history of more than 1,400 years since it was established in the Southern Dynasty, and is one of the "Ancient Cultural Counties of Guangdong". It is one of the "Ancient Cultural Counties of Guangdong". The Changgangpo Ferry Trough in the county is known as the "Red Flag Canal of the South", which is a model of modern water conservancy engineering; Luoding has abundant products such as rice and cinnamon, and has deep agricultural roots. As an important node of the Maritime Silk Road, Luoding integrates the diverse cultures of Guangfu, Hakka and Lingnan, and retains a rich human heritage of ancient villages and ancestral halls. Nowadays, Luoding, relying on the advantages of the transportation hub, is accelerating its integration into the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and writing a new modern chapter of the millennium-old town with the synergistic development of eco-agriculture, cultural and tourism industries, and manufacturing industry.
Sangri County is located in Shannan City, Tibet Autonomous Region of China, situated in the middle valley of the Yarlung Zangbo River, with an average altitude of about 3,560 meters. The county is bordered by Gacha County in the east and Naidong District in the west, with a total area of about 2,634 square kilometers. Sangri means "Copper Mountain" in Tibetan, and is named after the rich copper resources in history.
Sangri County is dominated by Tibetan culture and has a deep religious heritage. Famous attractions include the Dansatie Monastery (the ancestral monastery of the Patrul Kagyu sect of Tibetan Buddhism), the Wokha Hot Springs and the Yarlung Tsangpo River Grand Canyon. The local economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, with barley and yak farming as traditional industries, and ecotourism has gradually developed in recent years.
The region is a plateau temperate semi-arid climate, with abundant sunshine and large temperature difference between day and night. Sangri County is an important corridor connecting Shannan and Linzhi, with National Highway 318 running through the whole territory, and the transportation convenience continues to improve, providing a unique destination for tourists to explore Tibetan culture and plateau natural scenery.
