Located in the western part of Guangdong Province, Luoding is a county-level city under the administration of Yunfu City, known as the "Gateway to Western Guangdong" and the "Breadbasket of Lingnan", situated at the crossroads of Guangfu and Bagui cultures, with a long history of more than 1,400 years since it was established in the Southern Dynasty, and is one of the "Ancient Cultural Counties of Guangdong". It is one of the "Ancient Cultural Counties of Guangdong". The Changgangpo Ferry Trough in the county is known as the "Red Flag Canal of the South", which is a model of modern water conservancy engineering; Luoding has abundant products such as rice and cinnamon, and has deep agricultural roots. As an important node of the Maritime Silk Road, Luoding integrates the diverse cultures of Guangfu, Hakka and Lingnan, and retains a rich human heritage of ancient villages and ancestral halls. Nowadays, Luoding, relying on the advantages of the transportation hub, is accelerating its integration into the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and writing a new modern chapter of the millennium-old town with the synergistic development of eco-agriculture, cultural and tourism industries, and manufacturing industry.
Kobrin is an important city in the Brest Oblast of southwestern Belarus, located at the confluence of the Mukhavets River and the Dnieper-Bug Canal, about 50 kilometers from the oblast's capital, Brest. One of the historical and cultural centers of the region, its earliest written records date back to 1287.
Kobrin is rich in war memorial sites, the most famous of which is the Museum of the Patriotic War of 1812, documenting the military campaigns of Napoleon's army in the area. The Old Town retains its 19th-century Orthodox churches and complex of traditional wooden buildings, and in Suvorov Park stands a monument to the famous Russian general Suvorov, a testament to the city's historical ties to the Russian Empire.
Modern Kobrin is a regional base for processing agricultural products and light industry, and plays an important logistical role as a rail and road hub connecting Brest with Minsk. The city is surrounded by a large number of agricultural and livestock areas, and the food processing industry is one of the pillars of the local economy.
Visitors can explore the ruins of Kobrin Castle, the Museum of Local History, or take a boat trip on the canal network. The surrounding area is dotted with extensions of the primary forest of Belovezh, which has given rise to a unique wetland ecosystem suitable for eco-tourism and outdoor adventure activities.
