Located in the southern part of Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Guizhou Province, China, Luodian County is situated on the slope of the transition from the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to the hills of Guangxi, and is famous for its karst landscape and subtropical climate. With a total area of about 3,013 square kilometers and a population of about 350,000, the county is a multi-ethnic settlement area, rich in the cultures of the Buyi, Miao and other ethnic minorities.
Luodian is known as the "Hometown of Dragon Fruit in China", producing dragon fruit, Aina Xiang and other specialty agricultural products, as well as natural landscapes such as Dajing Scenic Spot and Mengjiang National Wetland Park, which are a blend of caves, rivers and idyllic landscapes. With an average annual temperature of 20°C, the local area is a well-known winter resort in Guizhou. The economy is based on agriculture and eco-tourism, and is actively developing green industries and rural revitalization projects.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
