Located in Bayin'guoleng Mongol Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang, Luntai County is situated at the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountain and the northern edge of the Tarim Basin, and is an important node on the Northern Road of the ancient Silk Road, which is known as the "Gateway to the Western Regions". It has a long history and was once the seat of the Western Region Capital, witnessing the intermingling of multi-ethnic cultures. It has the world's largest primitive poplar forest park in the territory, and the poplar forests are dyed in color in the golden autumn, becoming a photography resort; near the Taklamakan Desert, the unique desert and oasis landscapes reflect each other. Luntai is famous for its agricultural products such as cotton, pears and walnuts, and is also one of the main producing areas of the Tarim Oil Field, where energy and ecology coexist harmoniously, making it a must-visit place to experience Xinjiang's diverse cultures and natural sceneries.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
