Liuhe District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China, located in the northern part of Nanjing, on the northern bank of the Yangtze River, and is an important part of the Nanjing metropolitan area. With a long history dating back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods, the area is rich in cultural heritage and natural landscapes, such as the Liuhe National Geopark and Lingyan Mountain Scenic Area. Liuha is famous for its specialties such as Longchi Carp and Liuha Pig's Head Meat, and has continued to develop economically as an industrial and agricultural base for Nanjing. Tongjiang City is located in the northeastern part of China's Heilongjiang Province, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiamusi City, situated at the confluence of the Songhua River and the Heilongjiang River, and across the river from the Jewish Autonomous Oblast of Russia, making it one of the most important border port cities in China. It has a cold climate and long winters, with agriculture, fishing and border trade as the main economic pillars.
