Liuhe District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China, located in the northern part of Nanjing, on the northern bank of the Yangtze River, and is an important part of the Nanjing metropolitan area. With a long history dating back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods, the area is rich in cultural heritage and natural landscapes, such as the Liuhe National Geopark and Lingyan Mountain Scenic Area. Liuha is famous for its specialties such as Longchi Carp and Liuha Pig's Head Meat, and has continued to develop economically as an industrial and agricultural base for Nanjing. Conveniently located adjacent to the main city of Nanjing, it is well connected through a network of subways and highways, making it an important node in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Istaravshan is a historic city in the Soghd province of northern Tajikistan, located about 200 kilometers north of the capital city of Dushanbe. The city has a long history of more than 2,500 years and was once an important trade and cultural hub on the ancient Silk Road. Its name means "place of pleasure", reflecting the pleasant natural environment of the region.
Istaravshan is known for its rich historical heritage, including ancient mosques, madrasas and traditional bazaars.
