Liuhe District is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China, located in the northern part of Nanjing, on the northern bank of the Yangtze River, and is an important part of the Nanjing metropolitan area. With a long history dating back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods, the area is rich in cultural heritage and natural landscapes, such as the Liuhe National Geopark and Lingyan Mountain Scenic Area. Liuha is famous for its specialties such as Longchi Carp and Liuha Pig's Head Meat, and has continued to develop economically as an industrial and agricultural base for Nanjing. Conveniently located adjacent to the main city of Nanjing, it is well connected through a network of subways and highways, making it an important node in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Bairam Ali is an important city in the Mare region of Turkmenistan, located in the southeast of the country, about 30 kilometers from Mare, the capital of the region. Situated on the edge of the Karakum Desert and adjacent to the ruins of Merv, a historic hub of the ancient Silk Road, the city's location is of both natural and human significance.
As a regional economic center, Bailam Ali is based on energy and agriculture.
