Located in the southeast of Guangdong Province, Lufeng City is a county-level city under the administration of Shanwei City, which is situated between the east coast of Guangdong and the special economic zones of Shenzhen and Shantou, bordering on the South China Sea, with a total area of 1,687 square kilometers. Lufeng has a long history, the county was established in the third year of Ming Jiajing (1524), and it is an important part of the revolutionary base of Hailufeng, with a profound red cultural heritage.
