Loudima is a city in the south of the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville), located in the Kouilou Region along a tributary of the Niari River, about 450 kilometers from the capital Brazzaville. The city is an important transportation hub and regional commercial center in the southwestern part of Congo (Brazzaville), and the national highway connecting Brazzaville with the coastal city of Pointe-Noire runs through it. The local economy is based on agriculture, producing cassava, peanuts, corn and other crops, while relying on the river to develop fishing and small handicrafts.
