Lombe (Luena) is the capital of Bié Province in eastern Angola, located in the central highlands of the country, and is an important regional administrative and economic center of Angola. Located in the hinterland of the Bié Plateau, the city's surroundings are dominated by agriculture and animal husbandry, with crops such as maize and beans, as well as livestock.
